A NurbsTools plug-in for Rhino 8
L for a line, TR to trim. Cut a plan from the model, hatch it, lay it out on an A3 sheet, without leaving Rhino.
Three tools
A Rhino panel with the tools of AutoCAD’s ribbon: draw, modify, annotate, the current layer. Each button runs Rhino’s own command.
The Top view fills the window on a blueprint blue. The toolbars step aside, the command line moves to the bottom in large type, the crosshair spans the view.
Cut the model at a height: the section, closed and ready to hatch, and the projection of what lies below, hidden lines removed. Then the poché, and an A3 sheet at a standard scale.
Download the plug-in, drop it onto Rhino 8, type one command. That is the whole install.
