The rules of the game.

NurbsCAD is a plug-in for Rhino 8 for Windows for drafting in Rhino the AutoCAD way: a CAD toolbar with AutoCAD’s short names, a full-screen CAD mode, plans cut from the model, their hatches and their A3 layouts.

NurbsCAD comes in two editions, Student and Pro. The rights of each are set out in its license, delivered with the order and published on this page.

Each new major version is offered at a price of your choice, from €1 to €25. The certificate is then reissued for that version, with the grade that matches the contribution: Standard (€1 to €4), Supporter (€5 to €9), Patron (€10 to €14), Sponsor (€15 to €19), Legend (€20 to €25). The license for the version already purchased stays valid without this update.

The contribution only supports the publisher: every grade gets the same plug-in, and the grade only changes the look of the certificate.

The Student license is for students and teachers only. The publisher may ask for proof of status.

• Studying, teaching and personal non-commercial projects.
• Installation on the computers the holder uses.

• Any commercial or paid work, including during an internship, at a practice or as a freelancer: it requires a Pro license.
• Use by anyone other than the holder.

The license has no time limit for the major version purchased and its minor updates.

The Pro license is for professionals: freelancers, practices and companies. It is issued in the name of one person.

• Any use by the holder, commercial and paid work included.
• Installation on the computers the holder uses.

• Use of one certificate by several people: each user holds their own license.
• Reselling, renting out or making the plug-in available to third parties.

The license has no time limit for the major version purchased and its minor updates.
